How to Put Pictures on a Flash Drive using Mac?

This article will teach you about how to copy pictures from your system to USB flash drive. Here
are the steps you need to follow:

Step 1: Plug your flash drive into Mac.

All the systems come along with rectangular holes which are known as USB ports. In laptops, they mostly located on sides of its casting or on the side of the keyboard or on the CPU in Desktop. You have to plug in your flash drive into the USB port.

USB ports come up with a piece of plastic in the top of their slots; you can see USB end of your flash drive with a plastic segment. You need to insert the drive into your system’s USB port with a plastic segment side of the flash drive at the bottom.

●   Turn it over if your flash drive doesn't fit into the computer.

●   It is unfortunate that some Macs don't have USB ports.

Step 2: Open the Finder.

●   This app will be a blue face icon in your Mac’s dock, that is generally located at the
      bottom of the screen.
●  Your flash drive may open as soon as you insert it into your computer.

Step 3: Click the name of the flash drive.

●  It will be towards the bottom of left side of Finder window, At the bottom of the Devices
heading. Doing this will open your flash drive’s window, you may drag your pictures into it.

You might skip this step if your flash drive opened when you plugged in.

Step 4: Open the photos.

●    This app will be with a multicolored pinwheel on white background.

Step 5: Tap and drag a photo into a flash drive window.

●  Once you let go of the mouse, your photo will drop in flash drive window that means that
it will copy from your computer into the drive.
●  Photos are not moved to your flash drive; they are copied. If you want to move photos
from your computer, you need to delete them from your device after moving them to
    flash drive window.

You can also hold down while clicking photos to select multiple photos altogether. Click and
drag your cursor across as many pictures as you want to copy.

Step 6: Repeat the process for all the applicable photos.

●  You can put as many photos as the flash drive will allow. For example - a flash drive with
64 gigabytes can store 64 gigabytes photos.

Step 7: Tap on the Eject button.

●  It will be an upward facing arrow next to flash drive’s name in Finder window.
●  Doing this will ensure that while removing your USB flash drive, your files will stay
     uncompromised.

Step 8: Unplug your flash drive.

Your images now are present on your flash drive. If you want to move them from your drive to
another computer, then do the following:

●  You just plug your flash drive into the new computer and drag photos from drive to your
   system’s Pictures folder.
